While Marina and Tanger rested their minds for a few moments. Maia sought out Captain and Ambassador Blake. She walked over to Ambassador Saagu.
Robert had made sure he was in the background. He had come along on the away mission just in case. It had been decided not to broadcast his involvement in the mission. So if things did go badly he could administer medical help. Without hindrance from the perpetrator.
"I've got my people resting a bit. Is there any way we can have these people taken out of here," Maia indicated to the people looking up?
"Don't you think it's kind of eerie, Ambassador?" Maia asked again.
Saagu replied, "When the battle is going on we always wonder able it. And that causes it to seem eerie to everyone not in the battle. Sometimes I find myself wanting to go join the fight. But as you know Captain Sterling, as an Ambassador I can only standby and if attacked defend, myself.
And there is a secret transporting my office near here for emergencies. I had it placed there when the Caliphate attacks first started. We can take your crew there and send them back. My intel says the Caliphate has had a reduction in their telepathic powers like the psionic weapon is not working right now. Their powers don't seem strong enough to be as effective to attack anyone with them.
And I have a secure communications unit in there too you can use to contact the Leto."
"Excellent, please lead on," Maia said.
"Please excuse me Ms Ambassador I must call my ship," Maia said.

Maia then went over to Captain Blake
"The Crystals we have are being dispersed now that should provide some protection from a caliphate psionic attack. Have you talked to your wife the Ambassador? Is she alright?"
David nodded. "She is preparing to address the Assembly in an effort to swing the decision to remain with the Federation."
"Excellent, wish her good luck for me. I hope we aren't taking too many casualties, I have several teams off the ship." Maia replied.

Marina looked toward Kasey offering a nod of her head. “I’m okay, I want to help finish this.”

=/\= Excellent I've been in contact with the Leto and they are ready to seed the atmosphere with diffusing crystals that should refract most of the waves assaulting this consulate., where is your position now I will come to you =/\=
=/\= Lieutenant Marina Tanger and I are in the Rixx Hospitality Suite since my father is a descendant of that line and thus we inherit that privilege. It is the second set of suites outside and to the left of the Grand Chamber where we were attacked. =/\= Kasey Tanger replied.

After a few minutes and the current conversation, Rick got back on the channel. =/\= Scans are complete. There are waves of psionic energy and it keeps growing in strength. Particularly in the directions of the Council Chamber of the Chancellory. Could be able to distribute the particles in the atmosphere and the scattering field should be reduced by 73-74%.
Also, there are no other ships in the area but for us and the patrol ship, but of course, there's got to be bad news. The biogenic weapon on the second moon is starting a build-up to launch. Estimated 30 minutes to fire." =/\= Whenever Lieutenant O'Carroll is finished with the probes, they're good to fire, Commander Ryan.
Maia made her way over to Lt Tanger and Marina, on her way there she received a coded transmission from the Leto stating the probes had been fired and the psionic signal had been degraded by 78 per cent.
Maia entered the Rixx Hospitality suite.
"Are you two alright the Psionic signal has been dispersed by 78 per cent, you two should be feeling better now".
She looked at Kasey and Marina.
Marina nodded as she looked towards her brother, then back at Sterling. “That’s much better Captain.”
"Good are you both ready to make our impassioned plea to the Betazed to remain in the Federation?" Maia asked.
Marina nodded. "I'm as ready as I'll ever be Captain." she looked at Kasey. "How's about you Kasey?"
"I am good to go and ready to serve," Tanger replied to his sister's question but looked at the Captain.
"Then let's go get them, and convince them to remain in the federation short of that let's get them to be allies. Maia said.
