[ON]

~ PREVIOUSLY IN SICKBAY ~

Robert shook his head.

“ I am worried about this. She needs to let her grief out and not bottle it up. It could damage her plus with her telepathic powers. This could become a scary situation.” He warned.

Isabelle nodded. “I agree, our abilities are the same but Marina has been taught to use hers in ways I’ve never used mine. Even I could injure someone if I let my abilities explode, heavens knows what Marina could do. Perhaps we should consider...”

At that moment there was an ear-piercing scream as the reality of her situation finally struck Marina, a small photograph in her hand of her daughter Aurora combined with the last scan of her unborn, now lost, the child had hit an emotional point she couldn’t control. Sitting bolt upright on her bed she’d sent out an emotional telepathic burst.

Isabelle clutched at her head as she dropped to her knees in front of Robert, blood pouring from her nose as she collapsed onto the deck.

Robert rushed over to Isabelle but suddenly his legs would no longer support his weight. Hendon sank to the floor his heart pounding in his ears. Blood began to trickle from them.

“ Marina no!!!!” He cried out.

~ NOW~

Brannon was passing Sickbay when she heard a scream. She ran in to investigate. " Security can I be of assistance. I heard a scream."

A young nurse who’d rushed to Hendon’s side looked towards Brannon. “Help the Doctor!!”

Robert tried to raise his head. But his brain felt like it was on fire. His ears were bleeding which was not a good sign. Someone had said his name? His eyes…..his eyes…..

Brannon went to the Doctor to steady him. She had some minor bleeding from her nose and mouth but it was not serious. "Are you OK Doctor as she placed her arms on his to help him to a seat? What happened in here? Do you know who you are?

She looked over to see a nurse give a patient a sedative to make her go to sleep before she passed out.

She hit her communications badge, " Brannon to Bridge. I have an unknown incident in Sickbay. I am investigating now. Appears several of the medical staff were affected."

Karyn was in her office catching up on paperwork until they found a new MCO, such duties fell to her, suddenly she jumped as a loud scream could faintly be heard down where she was, then again she was a short distance from most places on such a small ship if she faintly heard the scream where she was, that meant the level it happened on it would have been much louder. If her services were needed they would call upon her, but the knowledge that there were personnel closer than she helped settle her mind, so putting the event to the back of her mind she returned to her task, but for some reason, she had a headache, it was not too distracting at the moment.

Rushing over to the hypo tray the nurse grabbed one, she was starting to get a headache herself as she approached Marina, pressing the hypo to her neck she just managed to get the dose into Marina before her legs gave way. As Marina passed out the nurse breathed a sigh of relief, but looking around she couldn’t help but wonder what the cost of the Counsellor’s outburst had been.

Walking across to Hendon the young woman grabbed a tricorder. “Doctor, how are you feeling?”

Robert tried to look in the direction of the sounds he was hearing.

“ My eyes…… I can’t see……I can’t see!…. Hang on things are starting to focus…..blurred though……blurred…..” Hendon said.

Running a scan the young woman frowned. “Your optic nerves are inflamed. It’s not surprising you can’t see. Just sit and rest, for now, I’ll give you something for the inflammation but I’ve got my hands full. Sickbay is filling up fast!” She grabbed a hypospray and pressed it to Robert’s neck. “I’ll be back when I can Doctor”

- Bridge -

Maia felt a sudden piercing stab in her head and heard the scream then waves and waves of pain she stood up and then passed out. blood trickled out of her nose and ears..

- Sickbay -

The young nurse Heather, made her way across to Rahl. “Counsellor? How are you doing?”

“You... tell me” Isabelle sat where she’d fallen to the deck. “Feels like my head....has been turned inside out.”

Heather nodded. “I’m not surprised, we’ve got a lot of people down.” She pulled out a hypo pressing it to Isabelle’s neck. “That should help with the headache, and this...” she pressed another hypo to Isabelle’s neck. “Should help stem your nosebleed. Let’s get you settled on a bed to rest.”

As wounded started pouring in, and calls for help came through, Heather hit her comm badge. =/\= Sickbay to all hands...I need any able-bodied crew member with medical training in Sickbay stat! =/\= “Computer! Activate the EMH!”

She watched as the holographic doctor engaged. “Doctor, we need you! The Counsellor had a telepathic outburst, we’ve got multiple casualties across multiple decks.”

Although his vision was still blurry Robert knew he had to get to sick bay. Thankfully his family were shaken but safe. So slowly he made his way to sickbay. The place was packed slowly he took a seat. The EMH came over but Robert waved it away.

“ It’s just my vision but it’s clearing see to the others.” He said, “ I can still see we need more room”.

- Lab -

Ryan was in a lab with Samantha. They had been discussing his personal situation when the mental blast erupted. Both of them staggered for a moment before dropping to their knees but regained consciousness despite the enormous pain. The siblings looked at one another in bewilderment, neither quite sure what had transpired.

While the initial scream had not affected her, she suddenly realised that what she heard could not have been done vocally not this far away from the location and her headache while present had not gotten any worse beyond the initial scream she had hers. She had no idea that someone with no telepathic ability could hear such a scream, she replicated an anti-pain hypo and injected it, she began to feel better, but she tapped her Commbadge =/\= Somers to Medical, what has happened, I just had to take some pain killers for a scream I heard in my head =/\= she asked.

Heather was glad to hear someone’s voice from around the ship. =/\= Lieutenant Doctor Hendon is currently resting, Counsellor Monroe had a...emotion-driven mental explosion of some sort! I’ve got people pouring into sickbay, and reports coming in from all over the ship! I could use all the help I can get. =/\=

Mentally sighing =/\= on my way, Somers out =/\= Karyn said using a hypo to help with the headache she was still feeling and suddenly she wondered, who it was that had responded to her hail, whoever it was, it seemed that Medical was in need of abled bodies, so tugging her tunic down Karyn left her office and headed straight to medical.

Brannon was busy helping out as best she could. She seemed to have had a lesser effect from the scream. It did cause minor bleeding from her nose and ears. But it was stopping on its own. She kept moving quickly.

=/\= Lt Gibbs enact a forcefield around sickbay to prevent the telepathic powers from affecting the rest of the ship again. But allow anyone needing treatment to come through. Also, see what the tactical situation is on all decks and report back to me. =/\=

=/\= Hendon to Captain Sterling permission to use one of the shuttle bays as a makeshift triage centre?=/\=“ He asked

"Huh? What?" Maia said on the bridge coming around again..

=/\= Sterling here what the hell just happened=/\= Maia asked.

=/\= “ Monroe. Her grief at losing her child overwhelmed her and she had a…… the only way I can describe it is a mind quake. What we felt was the shock wave.” Robert replied

Maia got up feeling unsteady and go back in her seat. That's when she noticed the blood coming out of her nose and ears.

Karyn finally entered Medical which was in chaos, suddenly adrenalin took over and her headache was forgotten she spoke up "who answered my hail?" She asked.

“That was me ma’am“ Heather moved across to Karyn. “I’m Heather, one of the nurses here. Doctor Hendon is practically blinded, I’ve got people pouring in, reports from all decks! It’s chaos!”

Brannon noticed no one who was on duty from the Bridge was talking other than Captain Sterling. She looked at LT Somers, "I am going to the Bridge to check on everyone there. I will call you if I need anything." As she headed to the Turbo lift.

Looking as the Security Chief "understood Chief, you know where to find me if you need me" Karyn said as Brannon entered the turbo lift.

- Bridge -

Once the door open she stepped out onto the Bridge. She saw Sterling and went to her first and went to her. "Are you OK Captain? I was in Sickbay and decided to come to check on you and the rest of the Bridge Staff on duty.

"I'm not sure I have a ringing in my ears and I feel dizzy and somewhat disoriented I think I better go down to sickbay, Angelina," Maia said.

Angelina replied," Go ahead Captain I can take the Comm till you get back." She signalled to a medic to help Captain Sterling to Sickbay. "Keep an eye on her."

"Alright Lt Brannon, you have the con try to determine Commander Blake and Commander toran's status," Maia said.

"Aye Captain, I will check on them, as she motioned to the medic.

The medic smiled, "Understood Lt. Come on Captain we will get you checked out."

=/\= LT Somers, Captain Sterling is on her way to Sickbay. Let them know she is coming.=/\=

=/\= Commander Toran, Commander Blake this is LT Brannon if you are available and able to report to the Bridge. Please respond.=/\=

There was no response to Lt Brannon's call/.

- Engineering -

Jamie was busy as usual in engineering, having just entered her office to get a little paperwork done. It usually didn't take long but she was a little distracted, as she'd been so busy she had missed her appointment for her pheromone suppressor. She had enough control though not to cause any issues before getting too sickbay on a normal day. But today was different. Her thoughts were already on needing to find some relief, something she'd put off for three days, despite what her counsellor and doctor had told her she needed to do.

Then, she felt it, a huge explosion in her head, a headache that also seemed to reach into the rest of her altered physique, causing another huge explosion she usually reserved for the holodeck or her quarters. She felt it multiple times as she thrashed in her chair, untucking her uniform to try to satisfy the sudden need she felt.

She panted and got up, her long, curly mass of red hair down her back and her uniform jacket and tunic were undone, her tank top undershirt barely covering herself. She walked out to the door of her office as Jack Harkness, a handsome warrant officer was caught by surprise by the Chief Engineer's state. Then he was hit by her pheromones as she kissed him full on the lips, spun him around, and threw him against the wall, making out with him as if her life depended on the next kiss she gave him, her hands wandering along his body, ripping his uniform to get at his skin, her sweat carrying the pheromones to his system, causing him to give in.

Slowly, the rest of engineering got distracted from their tasks as well, as her pheromones drifted in the air and began to cause wandering minds and hands as other engineers began pairing up with the nearest suitable partner, ignoring their work and focusing solely on the person in front of them.

"Shouldn't...we...find...somewhere...get...work..." breathed Jack between kisses.

"Less talk, more us," Jamie said, her breath having a vocal undertone to it that melted his resistance away, as his passion doubled, the two turnings once, twice, then back into her office and onto her couch as they began to shed the last of their clothes.

------Sickbay-----

Maia helped by two guards staggered into sickbay, she felt like she had the bends or something. Blood was still pouring form her nose and ears.

"Doctor Hendon I need help." Maia said collapsing on a bio-bed.

Robert blinked a couple of times. His vision was almost back but not quite yet.

“ My eyes are still not 100% but I’ll do what I can to help you.” Robert said

Even though his eyes were not working properly yet. His brain was still fully working. He asked a nurse to help him. She looked over the bio bed readings and told him what they said.

“ Sounds like you have lost a few blood vessels. It may not look or feel pleasant but the damage is quite minor. A clotting probe across effected area should stop the ear and nose bleeds. But your need to stay horizontal for a least an hour.” He advised.

"I don't think that will be a problem, Doc." Maia replied.
