Our ambassador Wainwright was guilty of starting the calamities in the Farion system. We have reason to believe that he was either a clone of the real ambassador or an Orion surgically altered to appear as a Human. We are leaning towards the latter as the life signs didn't detect a human when we tried to beam him up. He was taken or aided and abetted by the Tritonian insurgents who seemed to be working for the Orions. It also appears that Lieutenant Colin Barth is a clone of the real thing who is being held by the Orions. Right now he is our only link to proving the Orions are behind the whole thing. I have informed Starfleet command in a secure communication of what's been happening. The diplomatic damage caused by Wainwright is catastrophic.

Captain Sterling had assembled her senior officers in the main briefing room to fill them in on what had happened in how it was our ambassador Wainwright was guilty of starting the calamities in the Farion system. We have reason to believe that he was either a clone of the real ambassador or an Orion surgically altered to appear as a Human. We are leaning towards the latter as the life signs didn't detect a human when we tried to beam him up. He was taken or aided and abetted by the Tritonian insurgents who seemed to be working for the Orions. It also appears that Lieutenant Colin Barth is a clone of the real thing who is being held by the Orions. Right now he is our only link to proving the Orions are behind the whole thing. I have informed Starfleet command in a secure communication of what's been happening. The diplomatic damage caused by Wainwright is catastrophic. All away teams are back on board and the Farion loyalists have established peace and order.

"Lieutenant Barth please tell us what you know about where the original Colin is," Maia said.

"Well your Colin Barth was captured and is being held by the Orions," said the prisoner, "I can lead you and a team there to rescue him." The Prisoner looked around. "Captain Maia," said the prisoner, "like I told you when we were one one-on-one in your quarters, you have to trust me and I will bring back your Colin for you."


Lieutenant T'Plana sat quietly and observed Captain Maia question the prisoner. As she did this, she also was reading her PaDD to bring herself up to date on the situation.

Sheena was carefully listening to the discussion and was trying to understand what had transpired with the Ambassador and what was the connection with the Colin switch if there even was a connection. Sheena was struggling with the rigors of being with a child and her duties as her condition would allow. It was frustrating but her job did come first so on she continued to hold her position down.

"When exactly was Mr Barth abducted?" Maia asked.

LCMD Belbre sat and listened to everything being said. She was still going over a computer download she got from the Ambassador's office. She looked up and spoke, "Captain I got a complete download from the ambassador's office computer before I came back to the ship. I have been looking it over and here is a copy for you." As she passed it up.

She put up a video on the room display for all to see. "In this video you see the ambassador leaving with the Orions in his office. And you can see he went willingly. He did not resist them. And does appear to be like he is part of the Orin plan. Also in the information this does show the location of several Orion strong holds on the surface. And their exact locations.

The Orions are very strong in two places not far from the planet's main capital city. And are working to prevent it from being reinforced by land and by air. The only way to re-enforce the city is by beaming re-enforcements in right now along with supplies as well."

"We have been expelled from the capital. The governing council has refused our help. They blame the Federation for most of the chaos as the Ambassador has been double-dealing. They will handle the matter internally," Miaa said.

T'Plana looked up and made some notes to the diagram, "Captain, may I suggest we send down two teams of intelligence and sabotage just outside the Orion build-up areas." here T'Plana indicated the sites. "While the Marines reinforce the Capital."
We can't do that T'Plana'Hath. right now our primary mission is to capture Ambassador Wainwright and bring him to justice," Maia said.

"Captain," said the prisoner, "Mr. Barth never made it here to the ship. The Orions captured him and replaced him with me before he even got here. The coordinates to the location are as follows on this PADD." The fake Colin handed Maia the PADD.

Sheena was listening quietly to the conversation and formulating a possible answer. "Captain, I agree with T'Plana. We need to send our Marines and hinder the Orion build-up around the capital," she said carefully.

We can't, to do so would be a violation of their internal politics. Our time will come Sheena. We need to find the ambassador to prove that he was replaced," Sterling added.

T'Plana watched the captain, trying to gauge her reaction to the suggestion being presented. She then pulled up the coordinates supplied by the fake Colin. She inquired "And we are to assume you're the clone of the real Lieutenant Barth? If so, to my knowledge the Orions have no technology left to clone, seeing as both the Federation and Klingon Empire destroyed the Orion's technology. If that is the case it implies the Orion's are being assisted or have another ally."

"We know that the Orions are good at placing altered agents in place of the real article to infiltrate and sabotage. Orions have been doing that for centuries. We also know that cloning technology exists. According to our sensors, Ambassador Wainwright did not register as Human. Or he would have been beamed aboard the Leto when we beamed everyone else up," Maia said.

As the other officers were making their opinions heard, the Carjoran science officer was quiet. After a moment, she pulled a tricorder from her pocket and approached Colin Barth. "Sir, I am sorry. Mind if I run a few quick scans? I lost the lock we had on you when you transported over. It won't hurt, I promise, and you'll make a nosy lady pretty happy," she said, not waiting for the man's permission. She quickly scanned his person, just enough to gather biometric data she could process. She smiled as she stepped back. "Thank you. Good luck out there," she said, returning to her Console. "Captain, I am headed to the labs. I'll send up Garcia or someone to man the Con," she said, making way for the Turbo-lift.

Isabelle sat quietly taking in everything that was being discussed. It appeared the so-called Clone in front of them was so far telling the truth, not that they needed her to confirm that with other Betazoids in the room. Her attention drifted to Marina who was sitting quietly seemingly in a world of her own, she'd taken her brother's departure hard.

T'Plana noticed that Lieutenant JG Marina Tanger seemed to be not paying attention to what was going on. This was highly dangerous for an intelligence officer to do and could lead to disaster. She gently nudged her colleague.

Marina snapped out of her daydream, offering T’Plana an apologetic smile and nod. She would have to catch up on anything she might have missed afterward.

Let's follow these sets of coordinates that Mr Barth has provided right now we have no other leads.
