- Planet's Surface -

Tanger was in his temporary office on the construction site and realized that since one of the crew was captured, he should reach out to the Thorions and request assistance and permission to traverse freely in their domain.

=/\= Sterling here go ahead Mr Tanger =/\=

=/\= Can I speak to you about the situation and how you would like to direct our response? I figured we need to be as diplomatic as we can be since this is a situation that involves both the Federation and the Thorion's. =/\= Tanger requested.

=/\= Yes Mr Tanger, I need you to beam up to the Leto and I will give you some instructions, Sterling out=/\=

=/\= Roger Ma'am. I will beam up now. =/\= Tanger replied and headed for the transporter pad to beam up to the Leto.

- USS Leto -

Once onboard the Leto, Tanger headed to the Captian's Ready Room.

Kasey approached the door to the CRR and awaited permission to enter.

"Enter," Sterling said.

Upon entering the CRR, Tanger approached the captain's desk and stood at attention.

"Lieutenant Tanger reporting to Captain," Kasey stated.

"Good Mr Tanger, I need your help! We have missing crewmen and an away team that was under fire. I want you to go to ambassador Langley and get him to request formal diplomatic assistance from the Thorion High Command. Our away team was captured on Thorion 3, They were all wearing veridium patches with a frequency of 9081.4 gigahertz. Even on a cloaked ship, they should be able to be picked up with a neutrino scan. This may be our chance to clean this system out of Orion Pirates and other syndicates who are up to no good. Please get on it immediately. We are currently powering up the Leto readying her for launch. It would be most helpful if we were backed up by our allies." Sterling said.

"Captain, I was seeking that very notion of action," Tanger replied. "I will get with the Thorion's once I have Ambassador Langley's authorization and coordinate the assistance that is offered. I have also been having some meetings with the locals and there are a few of them that were once pirates and are willing to help in any way possible if it means the Thorions will gain some favour with the Federation. While I did not promise any such favour, I did say it could not hurt the relations any to offer their assistance. I will go talk to Langley and get to work on that."

"Excellent Lieutenant I appreciate the effort on our behalf keep your eyes and ears open for any information you can find out about our missing personnel. If we should need more firepower I would like this to be a joint mission between us and the Thorion authorities. Their sovereignty must be maintained at all costs. Well done!, Dismissed." Sterling said.

Tanger departed the captain's ready room and headed to Ambassador Langley's office.

As he approached the office he could sense the ambassador inside and not in the best of moods. He approached the door to make it chime and awaited permission to enter.

Langley was pacing about in a less than happy mood when the chime of his door startled him "enter dammit" he grumbled and began to pace, mumbling about all the injustices under the sun.

Tanger entered the office and approached Langley's desk. "Sir, we need to get a coalition worked out with the Thorion's to have them help us with the current hostage situation and Pirate activity," Tanger stated. "Captain Sterling has asked me to work with you to arrange the diplomatic assistance we need for this action."

Langley paused and looked at the officer standing before him and raised an eyebrow "did I not hear that the Captain has assigned the new MXO to form a SAR team to go get your team?" He asked. "But I will get to work on the diplomatic channels, just in case the SAR team fails" the Ambassador added.

"Thank you, I will be of whatever assistance I can be," Tanger added. "I know we can count on the locals to be of assistance."

*smiling again* "I said I will try Mr Tanger, one cannot make a solid promise in instances like this, but I will put feelers out too, let us just say less respectable acquaintances I have made" he added and pulled out a Padd and typed something onto it before putting it away "there request sent through official channels, with the way things are it may be some time before they get back to me," Langley said.

"Respectfully, Thank you for doing your part," Tanger stated. "I will wait for your word to proceed."

*Nods* "As soon as I know I will let you know," Langley said walking over to a wall computer.

Tanger stepped out of the office and headed to his own office to review some more data about the situation at hand.

=/\= Ma'am, the ambassador has put out his requests to his contacts and is waiting for more information. I too have made some contacts and have been told by them that we will have support for our mission even if it is not sanctioned by the government. =/\= Tanger replied.

"Excellent work Mr Tanger". Maia said.

Sheena was sitting on the bridge reading the reports from the construction site quietly. Approving plans, ordering supplies, and the usual work an XO would be doing. *looks at Maia* "What's the word from the Ambassador?" she asked.

"The Thorion authorities have assured me they are assembling a flotilla of Ballista's and Javelin's to assist." Maia replied
