Captains Log Stardate 239507.01

Starship Leto after checking all systems and accounting for all the crew has left the Mutara Nebula and has set course for Starbase 51 our command base in this sector. There was no sign of the advanced research weapons station however, our main computer is full of their weapons research data. Perhaps it was a parting gift for our help. But the El Aurians who were on the station as well as Doctor Tolon are gone. There is no sign of the Borg or any Borg signals, even the Transwarp gateways are gone. On a different note I have received word that most of the 95th Rifle Marines will be transferred back to the Tomcat or other assignments including Captain Somers. It's a bittersweet return for me as I have close ties with the 95th Regiment. I also got the promotion roster. Saul Humpries earned a battlefield commission to 2nd Lieutenant and will become the new detachment commander. And Rich Gibbs was also on the promotion list to Lieutenant Commander. We are less than 6 hours away from Starbase 51 and hopefully, Starfleet command can make use of the weapons technology we will present them. Log Out.

Maia was in her office working on decorations and reading the promotion list. The Leto was approaching Starbase 50 and she had a presentation to do. when she was done Maia went back to eh Bridge and completed her watch.

"Status report all stations," Maia ordered.

Havri replied, "Captain not sure what happened. But all tactical and security systems are working normally. Also, I have found we have shields again to use if needed. Have accounted for all crew and also all the equipment we had before we arrived as well. The El Aurians who were on the station as well as Doctor Tolon are nowhere to be found at this time. I have made note of this and listed them as missing in action."

"And you completed a phase one search of the entire ship Commander Belbre, the Captain asked.

Belbre responded, "I have Captain and even sent special security patrols to search each deck as well. It is as if they just disappeared for the Leto. No one has seen them either when asked either. I did the phase one search 3 times to be sure the sensors were accurate. Also redid the diagnostics on all systems 3 times too.

I think that's exactly what happened but its always good to make sure

Rick shook his head out of his own thoughts and then after a moment, made sure to double check everything on his end and Belbre's. Not that there wasn't trust there, it was just better for everyone to do so.

- ENGINEERING -

Lieutenant Tanger was doing a once-over in engineering. He appreciated how his team pulled together and got the Leto out of the situations she was in while dealing with the Borg and the nebula and what have you. He was giving every system inspection's and seeing that his engineering staff were taking a few hours of downtime to recover for what could be an overhaul coming soon after all that has happened.

The engines were operating in good condition and the warp core was also in peak performance. He would bust his arse to make sure that his department would not let the rest of the ship down when they docked at Starbase 51.

-Sickbay-

Robert sat in his office and gave thanks. At least none of the crew have been turned into drones. Unfortunately, there were only two cures against assimilation. Either the infected had their link to the collective broken in some way or death.

"Captain to Sickbay, how is Marina and when can she return to duty", Maia asked.

“=/\= Her inner ear took a bit of a knock so her balance is off slightly. But once we have that under control she should be up and able in an hour Ma’am.=/\=“ Robert replied

"We should arrive at Starbase 51 in less than six hours doctor."

“ =/\= Give us an hour ma’am the inner ear is a tricky customer even for todays tech. Once I am sure she can stand and walk without falling over. You will have her back Ma’am.=/\=“ Robert said.

"Understood, and thank you," Maia replied.

--Science Department---
The labs were secure. Astrometrics was running regular scans. Botany was satisfied that any damage the ship had taken hadn't affected the gardens. Around her, the lab techs were buzzing with their assignments. She left her office and headed to the bridge to check the Console. She settled in. "All systems go." Releasing science probe now," the Carjoran woman said aloud, pulling off the reading glasses she sometimes wore.

The Leto's cruise to Starbase 51 was a relatively uneventful affair. Damage control checks and a phase one search and verification had been undertaken to make sure everyone who was supposed to be aboard her, was.

"Approaching Starbase 51, Captain," Helm advised.

"Alright take us out of warp," Maia said.

Aye Captain, Helm responded.

"Starbase 51 approach control this is the starship Leto, requesting approach and docking instructions," Maia said.

Starship Leto this is Starbase 51 please proceed on your approach vector, and stand by for automated link-up," Base control advised.

"Leto acknowledges" Maia replied.

Maia turned to look at Mr. Blake

"That was the easiest part of our mission yet, Ryan," Maia said.

The Leto was safely docked at database 51.
