I Don't Want to Wait Anymore

Ryan was sitting on the couch in his duty uniform sans his jacket, his red tunic collar and sleeves visible under the vest.

Sheena walked in and plopped down next to him. "Well....Rick hit the nail on the head and we put his suggestion into place and engineering is up and running again," she said.

Ryan looked up from the PADD he'd been reading a few notes on the upcoming mission profile. He gave Sheena a warm smile as she entered. "How is engineering?"

"Engineering is fine, your chief is exhausted. I need massage. I hurt in my shoulders," Sheena said looking at Ryan and smiled warmly. It was good to spend time with her Imzadi.

Ryan tossed his PADD on the coffee table and rose to his feet. He helped Sheena out of her jacket and gestured to the couch. "Have a seat. Get your vest and tunic off and I will get you some chamomile tea for you."

Sheena pulled her vest and tunic off and moved to the other couch and stretched out trying to get some kinks out but to no avail.

Ryan returned to the couch a moment later and took a seat next to her after giving Sheena a piping mug of tea. He gently started rubbing her shoulders and neck to help start loosening her muscles.

"Mmmmm... the tea is so good," Sheena said feeling some muscles begin to relax. "Oh love, that feels so damn good. You should have been a masseuse. You have the hands for it," she added, slightly groaning.

Ryan kissed Sheena just behind her ear as his hands worked down her spine. "Well, I have had considerable time to know where your body holds all its tension."

"Yes you do Imzadi, you truly know just where to relax the muscles.

Ryan returned the kiss with equal passion or more. He couldn't imagine what his life would be like without her in it. He finally broke the kiss after a while. "I don't want to wait any longer. I want to marry you as soon as we get to Betazed. Your parents are there and mine are too. I am sure they could arrange at least a small wedding once we arrive. If that's alright with you."

"I'm sure it can be arranged my love. We just have to ask and I bet it will happen knowing our parents. Let's go and call them now," Sheena said excitedly.

Ryan moved to the quarters work station and started the process to contact both of their parents on Betazed.
