The Thorion Conundrum Mission Brief
Location: Enemy Vessel

Ryan landed just next to the masked assailant and a quick arm block and kick sent the phaser rifle flying. He went for a follow up punch without success.
Unknown to Ryan his assailant was actually someone he knew all too well, he and Marina had been lovers during their time at Starfleet Academy together. She had always been one of the top students at hand to hand combat, and had wiped the floor with him on several occasions. She didn’t speak but simply squared up motioning to him to bring it on.
Ryan threw a series of punches at the assailant. Each one expertly blocked. There was a familiarity to his opponents fighting style, but he was at a loss as to exactly where from. It was a bit disconcerting.
Marina smiled, but she knew Ryan would figure things out if she kept sparring with him like this. She changed tactics purposely making a minor mistake, just enough to let Ryan get in a minor blow. She wasn’t planning on going down easy.
Ryan charged forward in an attempt to tackle his opponent. He was somewhat bigger than the masked figure. Perhaps using greater size and strength would work.
Marina was so busy planning her own move her plan went right out of the window, the tackle worked to get off balance as she toppled to the floor. She wasn’t planning on being pinned so she quickly used her smaller frame to her advantage, wriggling free she gave a good solid kick to Ryan’s side trying to wind him and bring him down.
Ryan gasped as her kick sent him rolling away. His vision blurred for a second. He heard her scramble to her feet and charge on him as he got to his hands and knees. His vision cleared and he spotted the phaser rifle. He grabbed it and twisted, smashing the butt stock into her temple
Marina had known it was coming but there was nothing she could do to avoid the hit. The butt hit her with a solid crack, and she hit the deck with a bang. At the same time her mask came off revealing her face to Ryan.
Ryan breathed heavily once his opponent was down. He secured the prisoner with a set of flexy cuffs before placing a transporter tag on collar. He finally took the mask off and froze for a moment. He looked at a face he had not seen in over five years. Not since Graduation Night.
Ryan regained his feet and tapped his commbadge.
=/\=Leto, Blake here. One...one to transport directly to the brig.=/\= He watched as Marina disappeared before climbing up to the catwalk and rousing Maria. A check of his tricorder verified the only ones left aboard were the members of the away team. He called for a second transport, this time to get Maria directly to Sickbay.
