Discussing the upon coming Mission

Mission: The Thorion Conundrum Mission Brief
Location: LT Tanger's Office

LT Brannon decided to go to Lt Tanger's office and see what he knew about her past and also to discuss the upcoming mission with him. Where he was a Diplomat he was going to have a lot to do in this mission. She took the Turbo Lift to his deck and went to his door. She pressed the chime button to announce she was there and waited.

The door chimed and Tanger was already aware of who may be at the door. His Betazoid abilities were always working and it is hard to not sense the approaching of others especially other Betazoids.

"Come" Tanger stated after the chime. "Come on in Angelina. I knew you would be be coming to see me sooner or later after I reviewed some notes of our upcoming mission. Can I get you a beverage?" Tanger asked as he stepped to his replicator and motioned Brannon to the two armchairs in the corner of his office.

"A glass of wine would be nice Kasey as she sat down. Hello and hope you are ready for what seems like will be a long drawn out mission overall from the looks of everything." Replied Brannon. "I felt I should let you know about somethings involving me and my family that occurred as well."

"You are correct, on the long and drawn out mission that awaits us. You want a sweet red, I presume?" Tanger stated.

"Computer, one sweet red wine, and one Andorian Double Dark Chocolate Frothy Ale." Tanger asked of the replicator and then grabbed the beverages and walked to hand Angelina her wine and take his seat. "I am very anxious about this mission as it is a terrible ordeal that needs to be solved."

"Please thank you, this mission is very important due to the fact the Betazed Council is scheduled to vote as together to stay with the Federation or to leave. Plus there is the matter of the hidden weapon we need to find as well. Also there is the Rixxian Caliphate that wants to get Betazed to go way from the Federation as well. So there are a lot of twists and turns going on." Brannon stated.

"Also I am my mother's only living Female Heir and will inherit the House of Belbre and its seat on council as well. My parents were killed when I was a baby and I was brought up in Foster care till I was old enough the take on my duties on Betazed." Brannon added.

"I do see the complexities of the situation." Tanger replied. "My family is all gone and the family estate has been lived in by the staff and their families that worked for my family. They keep the grounds and house in pleasant condition and I do get updates. It is my house but I don't intend to reside there until I retire from my Starfleet duties. However, my mother was a member of the Sixth House and since I am not a female heir, I let the daugther of my mother's attendant run the order of things. She let me know that things are getting nasty on Betazed. I am sure this mission will be exhausting for all of Betazed no matter how things go."

Brannon replied," And so do I, A member of the Rixxian Caliphate tracked me down here and kidnapped me trying to get the amulet my mother left me. It contained a chip with manes and pictures of all members of the Rixxian Caliphate. when the y rescued me I was able to find her and arrest her. She is in the Brig now awaiting transfer to the Betazed Government to answer charges for her actions."

"It was rough for me to resist but I knew if she got it that there was no reason to keep me alive. So I resisted at all costs." Brannon added.

"I felt there was bound to be some extra drama to the ordeals that have been experienced by the mission to Thorion." Tanger replied. "I do hope that we can make a difference and get this issue resolved to be better benefit of all Betazoids."

"And that is mine, plus I am working to try and keep Betazed in the Federation as well. I am working on some ideas to help make it more popular to the Betazed council when I get a chance to address them as part of the council." Brannon responded.

"I am willing to do what I can in any format. I am here to represent the Federation and Starfleet but I am a Betazoid and willing to do what is needed to keep Betazed in the Federation. I will have diplomatic permissions in the council and so I can speak as both a Betazed representative and a Federation representative. I hope that I can make the best of both." Tanger added to the conversation.

Brannon replied, " My number one thing is to take my mother's seat on council and 2 to keep Betazed in the United Federation of Planets. They are too important to the Federation to loose. And without the Federation the Betazed Government cannot survive on its own.

There are to many threats to allow a planet to stand alone. Threats like the Dominion proved that and the Borg also."

"I agree, and I am willing to do what I can, as I feel Betazed is no longer able to be left alone and on its own in the galactic realm. It needs the Federation to survive." Tanger replied. "I will do what I can with my abilities as a diplomat to keep the positive side of being a member of the Federation as a strong topic in the council chambers."

This is about all the information I have right now, I will update you as more comes to the front. I guess we had better get ready for the meeting up with the other players and see what happens from there.
