First Entry and How I got Here

How are things going Herria? I miss the Chocolate Benigit coffee already. These are my quarters! I am a Lieutenant, unlike my phaser instructor who said Ii would never see past ensign. They even made me senior counselor! So that doesn't just mean important work it means a window... and an office with a window I hope. Its important for me to see stars so I can look into that big black empty and see Betazed and maybe not feel so scared or alone out here.

I got situated and am about to go around introducing myself to the crew, maybe do a psych eval or five. I have not gotten a chance to review any case files, I bet there is going to be at least six hard cases on the ship who are going to be just not coperative. Those are the cases I dread.

I am looking forward to seeing what duty has in store. Please remember to be kind to yourself and read up on this when you feel low.
