Mission: The Thorion Conundrum Mission Brief

Brannon had been busy taking care of things on the Leto. We had met the Boone to take on extra diplomatic personnel. Among them were several Betazoids. She got them settled into quarters and was finishing up the last one when she introduced herself. "I am Dixie Tege and noticed you are Betazoid but have an Earth (Tera) name. Was wondering how that happened?"

Brannon told her, "My parents were killed when she was a small child and two people from everth raised her that were with Star Fleet. I followed then by joining the Academy and becoming a Security Tactical Officer. When I joined the Academy, my adoptive parents told me my parents last name. And how they changed it to protect me from a group on Betzoid that wanted to kill me and I was my parents only living releative. I only know her Betazoid name."

"Call me Dixie and come in so we can talk. As the door closed she looked at me. What is your Betazoid name?"

Dixie invited her in, as the door closed she look at Brannon and responded, "What is your Betazoid name. I may be able to shed some light on your situation."

"My Betazoid name is Heevin Belbre."

Dixie's eye grew extremely large when she heard the name. "Your parents were killed by rebels that do not want Betazoid to be part of the Federation, and need to find the government item they held to take their place on the Betazoid government council. The only way they can get it is to kill you to be able to take the seat. I see why they sent you away as a child now to protect you till you became an adult. Do you have the item with you?"

"My adoptive parents gave it to me as a present for graduating the academy and I keep it locked up to prevent anyone from stealing it. Not even the CO or XO know I have it or what it is. If there is a chance that it may endanger the ship, crew or mission. Then I will be required to tell the CO and XO."

Dixie replied, "I would tell them so they know due to so many Betazoids on the ship now. Some of the Rebels my be on board and looking for you. Let me know if I can help you in any way. Your secret is safe with me."

Brannon replied, "I will, and thanks for telling my this information. I will watch my back," as she left the room.
