Mission: The Thorion Conundrum Mission Brief
Location: Sickbay

Having learned of the injuries to her assistant chief, Maria decided that it was time to introduce herself to him and check to see what she could do for him in regards to his quarters, as she had been told that he had lost his legs and was having new ones fitted tomorrow. As she entered Sickbay, she said, "I'm here to see Lieutenant O'Carrol," as she looked at the young nurse in front of her. she continued "I Am Lieutenant Maria McMahon the Leto's new Chief Operations Officer,"

The nurse looked back at her and gulped that the Ops chief was paying them a visit, as she wondered if she using this visit to Lieutenant O'Carrol was to check up on Sickbay, the nurse replied, "This way Ma'am," as she led Maria over to where the short brown-haired officer lay resting.

"Hello, I don't think we've met just yet, pardon me for not getting up, I have no legs you understand, but I should be right as rain in a few weeks I'm told. My name is Steve O'Carrol and you are?" Steve asked.

" Heard Lieutenant" replied Maria looking at her Assistant, as she knew that he must be upset about what had been done to him; she asked," So, how are you feeling?" as she wanted to see how he was before seeing the Captain about his return to duty.

"My spirits are up The doc says I will be back on my feet before we get to Betazed. As far as I'm concerned that is great news. I've been on my back for close to a week and while everyone is friendly enough i just want to get back to work again. Most of my wounds have already healed thanks to the tender mercies of Nurse Peeters. Whats the news outside of sickbay"? Steve asked.

"Only we had the awards ceremony and that went well," replied Maria looking back at her Assistant chief as she knew that what she had heard was good news. but she did not want to rush things, "And that is good news about your recovery, but I do not want you to rush it." Maria said.

"Well I still cant walk or stand, but I can feel my legs and I have sensation in my limbs. So how is OPS? The Captain got you looking into things yet?" Steve asked.

"Well, I haven't had time to look at it yet Lieutenant and I have not long arrived myself," Maria stated looking back at her assistant chief, she said " we will take it slow and discuss everything after your Operation," as she wanted him fit and healthy and not rush back to quickly.

"I will help you with it as soon as I can Lieutenant. Don't worry about a thing." Steve replied.
