Leto final Personal Log

After spending time at the bar Karyn returned to her quarters and decided to do a last Personal Log on the Leto, the ship was busy, but there was nothing for her to do at the moment so here she was in her quarters about to do a Personal log.

"Computer, start the personal log of Somers Karyn Lynne Marine Captain 95th Rifles," she said and the computer beeped its readiness.

"Ever since I notified Captain Sterling of my reassignment back to Starbase 51, I wanted to make my own way there, but I think the Captain is going to get me back personally. There is stuff going on with the ship and there is a hive of activity going on with the ship, but currently, I am not required, when this ship first started out the aim was to be a fast assault armed response ship with a strong emphasis on Exploration and diplomacy, but of late the Rifles have been used less and less, perfectly understandable and especially with the loss of a good number of Rifles I can understand not using them as much, well not until they are at least up to full strength, computer pause" she said.

Gets herself a mug of herb tea and returns to her desk "Resume, I know the Captain wants to take me back to Starbase 51 personally but it would be quicker if I took a shuttle *sighs* suppose I should be grateful at least I will get back in style, I am also thinking of switching to Security upon my return, I know Alex lives for weirdness, but our past missions on the Leto are beyond weird, and I must be honest it will be good to get back to the normal *sips tea* it will be nice to see Commander Smithson again perhaps I might even get to see my Sister before she returns to earth, I will have to make a point to go see my Cousin too, do not know how she is since I found out she was in medical, but she is a Somers she is tough" She paused.

"I honestly cannot say how I really feel about leaving the Leto, I know I have official leave I have accumulated so I could go visit my Niece and Nephew which would be nice, they have not seen their Aunt for some time, it would also be nice to see mum and dad and breathe earth oxygen which I have not done for some time, but who knows things may change by the time I get to Starbase 51, Computer end and close log apply standard security encryption," she said and a moment later the computer beeped that the task had been done.

Karyn finished her drink and returned the mug to the reclimator and chose what she was going to eat from the replicator.
