Mission: The Thorion Conundrum Mission Brief
Location: Security Deck
Timeline: SD 39409.12 / 1330 hours

Ryan wandered about the USS Leto wanting to explore and get to know his new home. He couldn't help grinning from ear to ear. The last four years since his graduation from Starfleet Academy had been spent as a junior Strategic Operations Officer at Starbase 50. Now he was being assigned to a starship. He couldn't believe his luck.

Nishu had to know her surroundings being a security officer, so if anything like any emergencies come up she knew where to go on the ship unless she had to beam down. Nishu had her Bajoran jewelry on her one ear hoping her Security chief and command tells her to take it off, then she would she was just showing her Bajoran pride.

Ryan was amazed at having the opportunity for a deep space assignment. He glanced down at the PADD for a look at the ship layout as he took a corner and failed to notice another officer coming around the corner at the same time. He lost his balance narrowly avoiding a collision with an officer and landed unceremoniously on his backside.

Nishu looked down and tried to pick him up."Are you ok Lieutenant." Nishu was asking. Nishu didn't think anyone falling by her as she chuckled. "clumsy aren't we sir." Nishu asked with a smile.

Ryan picked himself up with Nishu's assistance. He returned her smile with a somewhat embarrassed one of his own. "Just a reminder that I should probably not read and walk at the same time." He held on to her hand just long enough to give it an introductory shake. "Lieutenant Blake, pleasure to meet you."

Nishu looked at him with a grin. "Nice to meet you, Lieutenant. I'm Lieutenant Nishu Yalet." She said as she shook his hand back.

Ryan dropped the handshake after a moment. He looked at Nishu's collar. "I am going to guess you're with Security. Deputy Chief Security Officer?"

Nishu looked at him, "I'm a security officer, and I do what I'm told, and where I'm supposed to be." Nishu said.

Ryan nodded. "Same here Lieutenant." He looked up and down the corridor. "Mind if ask you which way to the security office?"

Nishu looked at him, "Usually the ship's computer tells you, I am headed that way anyways you can follow me."
Nishu said to him.

Ryan gestured. "Lead on Lieutenant." He fell in to step with her as they started down the corridor.
