Mission: The Thorion Conundrum Mission Brief
Location: Captain's Ready Room
Timeline: SD 39409.12 / 1550 hours

Ryan entered the turbolift. "Bridge." He tapped his commbadge. "Captain Sterling, Lieutenant Blake here. Do you have a minute for me to stop by your ready room?"

Maia had bridge duty and was overseeing last minute adjustments and personnel transfers. She was seated in her command chair when the request came through

Ryan stepped onto the bridge thirty seconds later. He crossed over to the center seat. He waited as a yeoman had Maia sign off on a report. "Good afternoon Captain. Just wanted to let you know I got my in-processing done.

"Excellent I trust you didn't run into any problem, What cabin did they assign you? Maia asked.

Ryan double checked his PADD. "Deck 8, forward section, Cabin 806." He pocketed the PADD. "I did have a question about office assignments. Would you prefer I set up shop near the security and tactical department, close to the intelligence section, or on the diplomatic deck? I'm thinking I will be called upon to work closely with all three departments."

"Closer to the tactical department I should think." Maia said.

Ryan acknowledged Maia's decision about where he should set up shop with a nod of his head. "Tactical area, aye." He finally took a better look around the bridge. He was finally on a starship assignment. He couldn't help but smile.

"Have you seen the new operations officer yet?" Maia asked.

Ryan shook his head. "Not as of yet Captain. He was not in when I boarded this morning and spoke with one of the Enlisted persons regarding my cabin assignment."

"I am concerned he has not reported in yet." Maia said.

Ryan didn't have a clue to what was going on with the Chief of Operations. "Would you like me to do anything Captain?"

"If you see him send him my way" Maia said.

"Was there anything else Lieutenant?"

"Nothing from me Captain."

"Then thank you for stopping by,Carry on!"
