Captains Log Stardate 239501.18

The Leto has arrived in Thorion space. We have been intercepted and escorted by a combination of Thorion Ballista’s and Javelins, sub-light craft capable of full impulse speeds. The Ballista’s are manned the Javelin’s are drones. They are fairly heavily armed for craft of their size and make up the bulk of Throrion intra system defenses. While The Thorion’s do boast lLonger range vessels they only have about five warp capable cruisers 1 battleship of Orion design. There are very strict about who can cross their borders. I have been in contact with Thorion officials and they are having difficult time administrating the Pergium Visa’s to the various mining guilds. I have been informed there are over two hundred different mining interests already on Thorion-3. Most of these interest appear to be guilded and even the Betazoid’s, Tellarite’s and Saurian’s have sent delegate’s from the Federation and of course the Klingons and Romulan’s have sent their delegations as well. The K-7 station at Thorion-4 is at the extreme edge of sensor range and even from out here the neutronium armor is causing a pretty strong gravity well so that using the warp drive in the system is more than problematic. No craft can execute a warp jump in this area because of the gravity well created by the space station. Bashar J’olan himself will arrive in a shuttle in one half an hour. I have ordered my senior officers and the ambassadorial Marines to be prepared to render full honors upon his arrival. I am proud of the Leto. Ship and crew are performing above expectations.
